the wisdoms of First Nations peoples globally who in the vastness of diversity all share gnosis that everything is alive, sentient, and connected. This relationality is described in contemporary physics as Quantum Entanglement and Superposition.

Services

  • Participants in my community art projects are an integral way for communities to showcase their identity, connection to Country and create beautiful relationships.

  • My art commissions cover different opportunities such as creating a piece of artwork privately, producing a community project, research and development, and a collaborative process within an organisation

My Melukerdee Ancestors of the Tahune-linah (Huon River) region of Trouwunna/Tasmania knew the powerful technology of ballawinne (redochre). When the women who had “absolute provenance over the collection and distribution” (Cameron 2011) gathered this coccah mannena (blood of the Earth) from Country, they knew that grinding it into a fine powder somehow changed its capacity and energetic quality. Mixed with animal grease and applied to bodies for warmth and waterproofing it was used daily in ritualistic application rather than kept only for ceremonial occasions.
